This Article highlights the essential function that aerospace power plays to mitigate India__ampersandsign#39;s present and potential security threats. Traditional military threats, asymmetric warfare, and emerging cyber and space-based vulnerabilities are all included in these problems. Aerospace assets, which encompass both the air and space domains, provide strategic mobility, surveillance, and intelligence that are essential for addressing these complex issues and guaranteeing India__ampersandsign#39;s national security and defence readiness in a constantly changing security situation. This Article examines the Indian Air Force__ampersandsign#39;s (IAF) role in projecting force, preserving aerial supremacy, and defending national security objectives by looking at the aerospace domain. Adopting a qualitative methodology this research includes case studies, expert interviews, and a review of the literature to provide an in-depth evaluation. The purpose of this article is to perform a comprehensive look at India__ampersandsign#39;s current aerospace capabilities and determine how will they meet the wide range of security problems that the country faces. It looks at technological developments, strategic doctrines, and operational readiness in order to shed light on how well India__ampersandsign#39;s aerospace posture protects its security interests as well as any gaps that might exist.
